MW: 20 Manchester United vs. Liverpool (2-2)

Finally, a match where the players were strong, resilient, determined and energetic. There as an eagerness to close down the ball while retaining our shape as to not give them cheap opportunities to break out lines. Conversely, down the left side, Dalot was brave in taking on Trent Alexander-Arnold and made life uncomfortable for him. You could see the visible disgust and frustration on Virgil's face throughout the match as they were getting exposed and dangerous chances were finding their way into the box as a result.
Overall, the team performance was solid. Where one might falter, the rest supported, and there was a comradery that we haven't seen for quite some time. Generally we see a group of individuals struggling to be on the wavelength, but this match saw them look like a team for arguably the first time under Amorim. The errant, sloppy passing we have become accustomed to diminished and instead we saw measured, accurate passing.
We need to see more performances like this!
